4 THINGS YOU CAN NEVER HAVE

Embracing The Bittersweet Realities of Life!

In the tapestry of life, we find ourselves entangled in the pursuit of certain elusive treasures. As we navigate this unpredictable journey, we yearn for fulfillment and love, chasing shadows in the hopes of grasping what we believe will complete us. Only to find that the more we look, the less we see. Yet One thing remains true. Life cannot give you everything you want.

Here are Four things you can never have in life.

1. ENOUGH.

"Enough" - a word that echoes through the chambers of our hearts like a haunting melody. We tirelessly chase after more money, more people, more time, more knowledge, and more mentors to fuel the pursuit of our dreams. But the truth is, we can never truly have enough of these resources. Our insatiable thirst for more keeps us on an endless quest, always feeling like we're one step away from fulfillment.

"Our Life is compassed round with Necessity; yet is the meaning of Life itself no other than Freedom..."

~book II chapter IX, "The Everlasting Yea".[1]

Necessity they say, are endless. You'll never reach a point where you have it all.  Wasting time thinking of things you lack will only leave you distracted.

The clock is ticking, and we must realize that there will never be a perfect moment to start pursuing our dreams. "Start now," whispers the voice of wisdom. In this moment lies the essence of life's journey. We must embark on the path toward our dreams without delay.

As author, Alice Walker said, "The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any." Embrace your power and begin your pursuit of greatness in life. You need to start now if you ever want to get there!

2. CONSTANT LIFE

Life's unpredictability and You are not God!

It is both an enchanting allure and a harrowing reality at the same time. We yearn for stability, a moment to settle down, to predict our path ahead. Yet, life remains an ever-changing journey of chaos and serenity. No matter how hard we try to tame its wild essence, we will always find ourselves embracing the unknown.

There is no point when you ever get to settle, relax, and can predict your life. Your life will never be constant. Do whatever you want to do now; Face the chaos, Enjoy the good time. There is no postponing life for later!

THE BEAUTY OF DEATH...

Death is a natural and inevitable part of the human experience. Despite its association with sorrow and grief, many cultures and philosophies have also viewed death from a unique perspective, finding beauty and profound meaning in its existence. The beauty of death lies not in the end itself, but in the perspective it offers on life, its impermanence, and the opportunity to cherish the precious moments we have. Death itself is the biggest reason why life can never be constant. No matter how we avoid it, one day we're gonna die. Nobody knows when he or she would be called out of this world. No wonder when asked, "Where is the richest place in the world?" Dr. Myles Monroe  answered "The grave". Because in the grave " Are are people with the potential to be Medical doctors, lawyers, Presidents, Billionaires, etc. But they never had the opportunity to be what they were destined to be."

Life is too short! Don't die with your potential untapped. Pursue your dream with every waking breath you have. Make your time here on Earth count.

3. PERMANENT HAPPINESS.

"Happiness, is that elusive butterfly, dancing in the breeze of emotions," penned Emily Dickinson. It flutters in and out of our lives, a delicate visitor that refuses to be caged. Yet, we persist in chasing it, hoping to hold onto its fleeting beauty forever.

Happiness is flimsy! It comes and goes. If you run after the stupid butterfly, it will make a fool of you. Stop pursuing happiness. It is not meant to be permanent. You will never have it in full. If you enjoy it for a day, be super grateful.

As writer Rainer Maria Rilke wisely said, "Let everything happen to you. Beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final." Embrace the impermanence of happiness and find beauty in every fleeting moment.

“When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. And when life is bitter, say thank you and grow.” – Shauna Niequist

Just like yin and yang, pain and joy coexist to create a balanced whole. By acknowledging this duality and finding gratitude in all circumstances, we open ourselves to a deeper understanding of life's intricacies. Because In the end, it is the sum of these experiences that creates a life well-lived and a heart brimming with contentment.

4. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

Ah, unconditional love - an enigma that mystifies even the most experienced hearts. We yearn for someone to love us without limits, to accept us for who we are, flaws and all. Yet, as we navigate the labyrinth of relationships, we discover that unconditional love is but a fleeting dream.

There is nobody that has it, not even God! Your mother is deceiving you. Your father is lying. You see that your girlfriend stop giving her money and you will see her true color. There is no unconditional love. Stop being a fool. At least it is the condition that you're a human. Try to be a frog.

It is not a cruel revelation but an opportunity to understand the intricacies of human connections. We must accept that love is imperfect, vulnerable, and bound by the complexities of our humanity. By acknowledging this truth, we can embrace the love we receive for what it is, tender and authentic. At best, human beings can only love you for what they can get from you. That is why self-love is important. Nobody should value you more than you. Even the good book acknowledges that you should "Love thy neighbor, as thy self!"

Final thought

As we navigate this tumultuous yet wondrous journey, let us remember the words of poet T.S. Eliot, "For us, there is only the trying. The rest is not our business." The trying is what defines us, molds us, and fills our hearts with emotions that transcend the boundaries of mere existence. Let us cherish the pursuit, for in it lies the essence of what it means to be alive
