4 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE: BOSS UP!

A lot of people admire me because of my confidence. I mean, how else does a Content creator rack up thousands of followers and millions of impressions online without tough skin?

 Especially in this period where the level of toxicity on the internet is mind-shuttling. Without self-confidence, a lot of creators will be wallowing in depression. 

Self-confidence is a crucial part of success in our world today. A timid person will only go as far as his strength and skills can carry him/her while a self-confident person will reach and go beyond the climax of his/her potential.

Think about the most successful people in the world. Let's not go too far, in your organization. The most badass, "I don't take shit for granted," "Boss lady," or "guy," are usually the ones running the show. 

Why?

Because It takes confidence to lead. Leadership is the driving force of every organization, and a leader is the driver. You can't be timid on the road of life. So don't be surprised by the level of rudeness and arrogance you see Lagos Danfo Drivers portray, they understand life better than you do!

Self-confidence coined from two words "self" and "confidence" is the feeling of trust in one's abilities, qualities, and judgment...

In simple terms, it is simply believing in the fact that "YOU CAN".

WHY IS IS NECESSARY?

We live in a world full of crap. Human beings are naturally Narcissistic and egoistic.

 A lot of people want to project their bullshit to whoever they feel is subordinate to them. If you're not confident enough in yourself and your abilities, you will be treated like crap. Self-confidence helps you to know your place in life. It helps you fight for your place.  

FALSE HUMILITY IS A SCAM!

Another reason why Self-confidence is important is because a lot of people use humility as their excuse for taking shit from life.

No matter how hard he tries, a lion can never pretend to be a Cat. You can't pretend to be what you're not. Stop putting up this " I don't want to show myself too much" attitude. Sometimes, pride can be a virtue. If you're good at something, boast about it to the best of your ability.

Ronaldo will say he's the greatest Football player in the world. It's not pride, he knows himself too well. He knows what he can do.

Nevertheless, If you're struggling to speak up for yourself and chart new Territories, there are four ways to improve your Confidence.

1. OUTWORK YOUR DOUBTS

Everybody has self-doubts. It's one of the demons to conquer on your path to success. The way to deal with self-doubt is to prove yourself wrong. Proof that all your limiting preconceived notions are false. Prove to yourself that you're not a failure. Prove to yourself that you're more than you think you are.

Most times, we are the walls that limit ourselves. Our doubts, insecurity, and ignorance are only but a mirage. People don't see these things the way we see them. We may see them as weaknesses but to someone else, it is strength.

"Your Weaknesses Are Not Enough To Disprove Yourself Worth!"

 The only thing that can make you sell yourself short is when you're not truly living up to your potential. 

Living up to your potential is not such a big deal. It starts by being able to smash your goals and accomplish your big dreams. That happens when you're winning daily. Setting goals, and smashing them.

 Honestly, nothing gives confidence like having a sense of accomplishment by doing things you said you would do. I mean, have a stack of undeniable proof of works that even the blind can attest to. 

So go ahead. Create content When you promise yourself to create content. Go out and make a sale when you promise to make a sale. Create new products make new friends, and attend conferences.

Do things that will prove to you that you are a doer. I promise this will build up your confidence. And when you have done enough, you will have no reason to doubt yourself.

2. YOUR SALARY IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY.

Your income is mare numbers, it can change at any time. your life can transform overnight. Don't identify yourself based on what you earn. And don't let people with the big bucks disrespect you. Your value is more than anything money can afford.

Money is not everything. It cannot buy happiness, it cannot buy love, it can't buy family. No wonder 70% of the world's wealthiest people are alone, divorced, and depressed.

I've said this time without number, money is good, but don't use it to judge your self-worth. Instead build the right values, skills, and relationships. And watch yourself grow big.

3. THE PATH TO LIFE IS DEAD.

Take risks.

Challenge yourself.

Try new things...

It is when you choose to be vulnerable that you can find your strengths. you cannot be too afraid of failure that you cannot give success a chance.

 Speak up when you have something to say. And if you're wrong someone will correct you. Nobody will kill you for telling your truth. But for all the moment you choose silence, your principles die with you.

Like Jim Rohn will say, "It's all risky, life is risky"

 You are an average of 5 people you spend your time with. If you spend your time with confident people, you'll become confident. But if you spend your time with fools, you become like them.
